Great Journey of 2019 - We have a log of Luggage

How we packed for a 22 day journery.....

LorAnn has a bag for her clothes.  I have a bag for my clothes, We have a bag for shoes. We have a bag for beach wear. We have a bag for cold weather clothes. We have a bag for electronic gadgets.  I have CPAP bag.  Each of us has a (at least one) miscellaneous bag. We have a bag for snacks and treats.  We have a small cooler. And we have a case of water (or remnants of one)

We have lots of different bags. And it all has to go neatly back into the car. There is a place for everything and everything has a place.

We do not bring all the luggage in each and every night unless we: 1) will be at a location for more than one night and do not want to leave items in the car.   2) We need to repack the luggage to get the right clothing for the location we are going to be in.  Since we were in Daytona for 4 days, we brought everything into the room.   In addition, now that we are leaving the warm weather, beach scene, we need to exchange our shorts and T's for cooler weather clothes.

Don't we ever learn from History!

Public Meeting to be held to discusses High-Speed Rail between Minneapolis and Duluth  and could cost between $500 million and $600 million. Didn't we have a passenger train rail line between St Paul and Duluth? Oh yeah... It failed due to lack of ridership. What about the tracks? Oh yeah... They are now bike paths between White Bear and North Branch. Don't get me wrong, I love trains... But they need to be self sustaining... April 8th My birthday and an eclipse

This year, April 8th not only represents the completion of my 67th trip around the sun, but it will be a chance for me to experience a solar eclipse totality. Consequently,  I have placed myself in a location to enjoy both my birthday and this solar event. I've heard of the many dire predictions of catastrophic events at the time of the eclipse. Included in this is the Salem Ninevah prediction of Jesus's return. Be assured I'm at peace.  Christ may return at anytime, but that date and time is unknown to man. And if he does surprise us, and comes back monday, I know that I'll walk with him in heaven.  And if the earth shakes and I'm swallowed up in the chaos, my destination will be the same.  I believe that God will not allow this planet to be destroyed while His children still inhabit it.  And if I'm left behind along with the rest of the calamity of survivors digging out, I'm prepared to battle satan while I can.
