Surgery

I had a Lipoma mass, the size of a babys head, removed this morning.   A lipoma is a slow-growing, fatty lump that's most often situated between your skin and the underlying muscle layer.
The size of the lipoma was the surprise.  Our understanding was that the mass was going to be the size of a mango.  The larger mass left quite a hole in my thigh.  Since the body tends to back fill the excised mass with fluid, I came out of surgery with a JP drain to remove the post opertive fluids.
Aren't i lucky?
