Day Two - Ceiling repair is helping the economy

The contractor (James) arrived today, just a little later than expected. He jumped right to work and started hanging plastic onto everything. LoriAnn wanted new wall coverings, but I don't think this is what she expected. It looks kind of surrealistic.
It appears that James hung plastic in all area's that he could reach. I know he plans on bringing in scaffolding for the dining area tomarrow. Once he finishes covering that area, he should begin scrapping the ceiling.

Thats about it for today. Tomarrow should be a dirty day. I'll try to get pictures of our living space posted tomarrow.

Don't we ever learn from History!

Public Meeting to be held to discusses High-Speed Rail between Minneapolis and Duluth  and could cost between $500 million and $600 million. Didn't we have a passenger train rail line between St Paul and Duluth? Oh yeah... It failed due to lack of ridership. What about the tracks? Oh yeah... They are now bike paths between White Bear and North Branch. Don't get me wrong, I love trains... But they need to be self sustaining... April 8th My birthday and an eclipse

This year, April 8th not only represents the completion of my 67th trip around the sun, but it will be a chance for me to experience a solar eclipse totality. Consequently,  I have placed myself in a location to enjoy both my birthday and this solar event. I've heard of the many dire predictions of catastrophic events at the time of the eclipse. Included in this is the Salem Ninevah prediction of Jesus's return. Be assured I'm at peace.  Christ may return at anytime, but that date and time is unknown to man. And if he does surprise us, and comes back monday, I know that I'll walk with him in heaven.  And if the earth shakes and I'm swallowed up in the chaos, my destination will be the same.  I believe that God will not allow this planet to be destroyed while His children still inhabit it.  And if I'm left behind along with the rest of the calamity of survivors digging out, I'm prepared to battle satan while I can.
