Last week I went to see a dentist because a tooth was giving me pain. She gave me some antibiotics and referred me to this special dentist because the tooth was in bad shape. If my dentist was referring me to a specialist I knew the tooth was in bad shape and there was a possibility that I may loose it. I had started praying for Gods intervention and healing miracles to happen to this tooth since the day it started giving me issues. So yesterday, when I climbed into the chair I was expecting that this specialist would be able to perform miracles for God. I was expecting the tooth to be saved. Sadly the DDS was very straight forward with me. He asked me how traumatized I would be if I lost my tooth. He said the odds were extremely high that I would loose the tooth. If I wanted him to, he would attempt to save the tooth; charge me lots of money; put me through a bunch of pain and then pull it sometime in the future. He told me I could go home and spend the weekend in pain and come back n
Someone recently suggested that we don't buy fuel on May 15th 2007. Why? Because there are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up. If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companys pockets for just one day, and that would put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day. OK, I'll try not to... But to do so means I may have to fill my tank on May 14th, or 16th which may increase the demand thus driving prices up even more..... I think it might be better if we all stayed home, on that day. But if I don't drive on that day, I had better stock up on groceries since I eat out a lot and I now will need to eat at home. Which means I will use more gas for an unplanned trip to the grocery store. Dang, I am still impacting gas prices with more fuel consumption. Maybe we should not eat that day also,
Wow... Its been awhile since I set this blog up. I think its time I make an effort at this or give it up. A lot has happened since I set this blog up in Aug 2006; the Christmas holidays came and went, valentines day, Easter, my birthday... Speaking of my birthday; My wife through me a great big party. She decorated the front yard with flamingo's. She invited a whole bunch of friends over. She got these great big sub sandwhiches from Target that feed a ga-zillion people. It was a great time. I am only sorry that I didn't get to spend a lot of time talking to some of the people who attended. There were so many that I could talk to them all. Thanks to all who attended. My friend Chris is out on a mission trip in Ecudor. Check out the blog: http://wlc-mission-men.blogspot.com/
